My guy is two now and so far no problems. We had a mini poodle that has seizures now and then but as long as she didn’t fall off the back of the sofa it wasn’t too much of a problem. She was 14 when she crossed the rainbow bridge.
I would have preferred a wire hair or a short coat, but I have a long coat because he needed a home when his first owner married a marine and couldn’t have a dog in base housing.

I can’t really blame the “greatest generation”. For the first time in modern history, ordinary Americans were able to provide suitable housing, education, enough food to be healthy and avoid nutritional deficits, and more than 2 changes of clothing and a single pair of shoes a year, for their kids. Yes, many times they went overboard, but not out of malice -— they thought they were doing the right thing, providing things for their families that they, themselves, could never have dreamt of, growing up.
Yep. And if it comes down to it, which it has; I have taken dogs out to the woods and shot them. Because I love them, and they are dogs.

Oh. Poor baby. Are you gonna be nice and pay a nice sum of money to a vet to put him down for you?
Reach deep down inside, grab your intestinal fortitude, take your dog on a loving last walk or car ride, and do the honorable thing, say a prayer, and put your dog down.
Or are you a coward?
A dog is a dog, not a human.
