Back in the day (and even today), I’m sure all Bill or Hillary have to do is make a phone call.

Chelsea Clinton and her then-boyfriend Jeremy Kane attended.

I know that Chelsea was enrolled at Stanford, but I don't think she attended many classes. I recall she spent most of her time traveling the world with momma Hillary.

Go down the list of all 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, and the past 500 cabinet secretaries....all did the same thing. I think you can find most Presidents of the past hundred years did the same.

Hey, at what point is it really a problem when people make phone calls on your behalf. I think you are going to have to throw out half the the Ivy league students if that is the criteria. Getting letters of recommendations is a part of the process. A phone call is the same thing. It is clearly stated at almost every selective college that GPA and test scores simply get you in the room. Being selected takes more. And recommendations are and have always been part of it. This is a non-story.

The really rich didn’t want their kids to face competition from the somewhat rich, hence, the indictments.

“Bill Clinton intervened in the first year of the scholarship, when Kane, whose 3.19 grade-point average was much weaker than those of the top candidates, had failed to make the final selection round. “

“Vargo told the Washington Examiner that the timing of Clinton’s call, which came while the program was choosing its 12 scholarship awardees from a group of 20 finalists, was a blatant attempt to game the selection process.”

People have said “so what”, who cares if a few people get in by Singer’s ‘side door’ route, everyone else who deserved admission also got in. Or did they?

While a 3.19 GPA is better than I had, and probably better than many of you guys, it still was not even close to FREE RIDE levels, particularly for a white guy.

But look at the second sentence quoted above. At least for this case, they had 12 slots and ONLY 12 slots, if this ‘side door’ had worked, one of those 12 people, all with much higher GPAs than this party boy, would have lost out.

Bottom line - while not exactly the same as the huge Singer Side-Door Scandal, it probably does the best job of showing that there are REAL VICTIMS...colleges do have a limited number of slots to fill, and people were pushed out because of Singer - in most cases, probably qualified people (i.e., whites and Asians), since those are the easiest people to reject.

Reember, Chelsea’s Ph.D. was from Oxford. I think the Clinton name eased her admission. Or was she just a legacy (BJ was a Rhodes Scholar)?

Bill Clinton was a “Rhodes scholar” except he wasn’t.
A racist senator got him in.

“After failing to get a Mitchell Scholarship, he landed a job as a speechwriter for Sen. John Kerry.“

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

excerpt from the piece:

The son of a Presbyterian minister and a tennis coach, Kane was at Stanford on a swimming scholarship. He attended the 2000 Democratic National Convention with the Clintons in Los Angeles. After failing to get a Mitchell Scholarship, he landed a job as a speechwriter for Sen. John Kerry. Now 40, he founded a charter school in Nashville and ran for mayor there in 2015 but finished in last place with less than 5% of the vote. He now works in real estate.

******************************

so my question is what did Kane do to earn his swimming scholarship at Stanford (especially topical considering news of buying athletic scholarhips this month)???

btw, it is reported that after Kane was denied the Mitchell Scholarship SoS Hildabeast put the kiss of death on $500,000 annual funding for Mithcell Scholarship coming from her US Dept of State.

first I’ve heard of a College Scholarhip program dying from Arkancide.

Vain people dressed in big egos are very petty when they don’t get someone to give them what they want.

I think one of the operations of Billary, Inc. is that Bill leaves it to Hillary to be their “enforcer”.

This article is an interesting view into how the Clinton’s run their life.

Everything is up for grabs, they will not be denied and there hell to pay over the next few decades if they are denied.

It seems thatt the Clinton’ s never, ever forget, even the smallest slight or setback.

Its no wonder that Hillary still isn’t over Trump’s election.

“Its no wonder that Hillary still isn’t over Trump’s election.”

I can just see her holed up in Chapaqua surrounded by cases of Two Buck Chuck Chardonnay, empty bottles strewn across the floor, ashtrays stuck in the drywall, and her muttering “How did this happen? It’s not fair! I was supposed to win!”

Meanwhile Bill is at that God awful “library” of his banging anything that comes within arms reach.
