Not true at all. Members of Congress are Federal office holders. All Federal office holders may be impeached by a majority vote of the House and removed by a 2/3 supermajority of the Senate. It’s not likely to occur in Pelosi’s case, but impeachment could theoretically be used to remove her before expiration of her term.
Expulsion is easier. Requires only 2/3 vote of the House or Senate of which they are a member.
It has been accepted sonce 1797 that members of Congress are not impeached but instead are subject to expulsion by their own branch of Congress.

The problem is, that in the case of a Representative, an election must be held to replace him/her. There is nothing to keep the expelled member from running for his or her old seat. Do you think that the voters of San Francisco would ever turn down Nancy Pelosi who has brought ‘San Francisco values’ to the front and center of our national conversation? Now, if expelled and she were reelected, the House could try to refuse to seat her, but I believe SCOTUS has ruled that they can’t do that.
