The first clue to Senorita Cortez’s crash and burn should have been that she graduates from renown business college with a degree in economics and ends up slinging drinks in a bar in Manhattan. And while they were at it thought the themselves the hottest sex goddess going.

You are correct. The problem is, she is very animated and exuberant. This is what her fellow ignoramuses see, not the stream of inanity. The people she is talking to and influencing will never challenge her “facts” but they will buy into and support her “ideas”.
I’m not a big Mitch McConnel supporter, but I loved him holding a vote on her Green New Deal. Even I didn’t think it would receive absolutely no votes. That was brilliant so every time one of these dems brings it up, the Repub can say “so how come not one of your guys voted for it?”

When I saw that picture you posted, I got the very strong impression that even a turd like Markley had quite suddenly realized what an untenable political corner he had painted himself into, standing there at her side as a co-sponsor.
This is Leftism at its finest. All emotion, all action, all demagoguery, until suddenly, the fabled “unexpected” and “unforeseen” results of their stupidity are tattooed on their collective foreheads.
Granted, they will simply pretend this all never happened, but I do give “Cocaine Mitch” McConnell props for being astute enough to bring it to a vote.
