Poor AHHHHNOLD, he wanted to be a Kennedy so bad, he lied to Californians telling them he was a Conservative and then after being elected he tried to out democrat the democrats, especially on the environment. Maybe it’s all the steroids.

When I see Arnold traveling by bicycle and sailboat, living in a tent, and tending his garden, I listen to his recommendations.

"Unnoticeable dot? You should look at a map."

I did. You should try it.

"Who gets to decide what 10,000 square mile area gets killed? And yeah, that pesky “storage” problem with a thing called “night”. And the cost. And the raw materials. And the energy to make it. Other than that, it would work fine."

You did see the part of my post that said solars problem was elsewhere than available land area?? My response was specifically addressed to your comment that there wasn't enough land available.

I'm well aware of all your points, and much prefer advanced nuclear myself. My comment was specifically addressed to the idea that "there wasn't enough land avalable"....which is incorrect. The actual land area, of course, depends on how efficient the solar cells are, but the 100 x 100 mile statistic IIRC used 10% efficient cells.

I suspect there is probably more than 10,000 sq miles of area just with the neutral ground strips of 4-lane highways.
