So what Elizabeth Warren is saying is that had Trump won the popular vote but Hillary won the Electoral College that she would DEMAND that Trump be President immediately! And that the Electoral College be banished?? Got it.
Lose the electoral college and you lose the United States of America. It’s that simple. It’s a huge part of our franchise and without it we couldn’t possibly stay together.
The New Democrat Party is bat-guano crazy.
They are, they are.
I refer to the NDP, Canada’s New Democratic Party.
I’m not going to recognize any president elected by any other means that what is spelled out in the Constitution.
Any rule broken deal is over.
Republican loses: it’s the will of the people.
Democrat loses: change the Constitution, which was written by Dead White Men.

Bottom line, a means to prevent tyranny of the majority.
Hillsdale does a wonderful job discussing the thought process that went into writing our Constitution i.e. the document that protects us from the ruling elite.

What nobody talks about is that NYC, L.A., and Chicago already control their state’s electoral college votes. Trump won the majority of counties in IL and NY but still lost the popular vote in those states. So the Democrats have this advantage right here. Once enough liberals in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth turn out the vote, TX will be blue too.
This is just the Democrats throwing out a trial-balloon. Warren can say or do anything and she’ll still be re-elected in Massachusetts. Ten years or so ago they had John Kerry testing bringing back the Orwellian “Fairness Doctrine.” D is for despicable.
Remember, she didn’t get to college or become a professor because she was smart ... she lied and cheated ... so little can be made of her opinion on the Electoral College. Probably thinks that she could get into it if she claimed to be an Indian.
It’s simple why Princess Liawatha wants it scrapped...because she knows that she doesn’t have a prayer carrying *any* of the states that DJT carried,regardless of what the nationwide vote count might be.
What arrogance this woman exhibits for her to think We The People want her anywhere near our White House!
If the Democrats are serious about doing away with the electoral college, let them lead the way by holding their presidential primary on the same day nationwide...the candidate with the most votes is the nominee.
The Democrats are still angry about the Electoral College because of the 2016 election and because they think it may happen again in 2020. Part of me would for it to happen again just to see them screaming in the streets.
