Maxine is an idiot but right about Wells. I worked with them. They are an awful company, full of corrupt and incompetent people. I hated dealing with them. A pox on their house.
Everyone should refuse to appear before any House committee until some semblance of sanity returns to the chairs.

Agreed. But at the same time, maybe some of those testifying in these committees need to pipe up and say something when confronted with dumb comments and asinine grandstanding from these members of Congress.
I totally get it that no one who’s testifying wants to getting in a pi**ing match but at the same time saying nothing only enables people like AOC and Mad Max to continue to say stupid stuff.
Once again, Wells Fargo is one of the 4 really big US Banks. The other three are NY based Citigroup, BofA and Chase. The NAy based banks rolled over for Cuomo and supported the gun grabber agenda refusing to provide banking services to gun stores, gun manufacturers, etc. Wells Fargo would not play ball. They took the sensible position that business is busitand if it’s legal, Wells will be happy to do business with anyone.
This greatly angered the Left so you see them going after Wells now. Yesterday it was the socialist barmaid. Today it’s Mad Maxine. Notice how the other 3 get spared?
She is probably incapable of making change for a five dollar bill

So true; the size of our government is massive - and they’re become a political entity unto themselves with their numbers. They represent the government worker caste instead of the voting population.
