The money grubbers will seep out of the woodwork now...... are almost as bad as the scammers.
If this lawsuit results in a payout to students then every student who has ever attended these schools would be suing and entitled to money. ....It’s not gonna fly.
Well, Congress is a no brainer - literally.
Yale on the other hand is a tough one. Racial quota I suppose.
This is 800 lawsuits and that would be a starting point.
I imagine we will see class action suits against the University industrial complex.
Is that 2 parts or 3?
We had an intern some years ago who came in bragging, “I got 1250 on my GRE’s!”
“What, 650 Math, 600 Verbal?” I asked.
“No - 420 Math, 420 Verbal, 410 Analytical.”
600 is one intended standard deviation above the intended mean - a good score (maybe less than what Harvard advertises, but...)
One of the intern’s classmates (whom I met, didn’t work for us, didn’t think was quite as bright) got not only admitted to Columbia but got a graduate assistantship as well. His advisor would not tell me what his GRE’s were.
Probably a typo.......should be 1070....smirk.
Scorers were A/A too.
THIS JUST IN: Alexandra Pelosi (her daughter) graduated from U of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication in 1993.
How did she get in? Mom and Dad use a little “green” pull?
I’m waiting for the FBI to ‘discover’ there’s lots of illegal ‘help’ getting unqualified teachers into the system.
“I just hope Obama gets dragged in”
He won’t; he’s Black Teflon — and Magic.
Actually, the article refers to a civil suit filed by 2 Stanford students against the universities.
