Behind a paywall for me. And I am not subscribing to National Review. Used to, in the days Bill Buckley ran that place. Quit subscribing a year or two after he died, and am never going back.

why his agenda so far has been successful. I voted for him, in part, because of my belief he had intimated he would stop the flood of illegals. He has not/has not been allowed to do that.
I don't consider his agenda to be a success.

Obviously you are not invested in the US economy.
Trump has been thwarted by both Republicans and Democrats and the liberal courts in his border agenda. On the issues where he has control, his agenda has been HUGELY effective.
Maybe you should read the book.

I don't consider his agenda to be a success.Hell, just pissing off all the right people is a great success. Trump is the only one who HAS an agenda besides the usual Marxists.

NeverTrump is really never-secure-the-border, never-enforce-the-laws, never-let-the-citizens-keep-their-country.
Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.

. The Bulwark will home in on a specific class of grifters and trolls those opportunistic Trump enablers who still get invited on Meet the Press and write for prestigious newspapers. To Sykes, these are the true sellouts, and he wants to ensure that their public flirtations with Trumpism leave a stench on them. Neocons still think this will all blow over and we will come crawling back to them.

I’ve spent too many years trying it understand and enjoy these “intellectual” arguments at the expense of my deplorable common sense.
I guess Victor Davis Hanson has no choice but to continue the battle.

Charlie Sykes is a sell out. He is so consumed with Trump hatred that he sold his formerly conservative credentials down the river and tanked his career.

Neocons still think this will all blow over and we will come crawling back to them. Yep. And not so very long ago we wouldn't have had a choice. They're banking not on such creatures as Mitt Romney for victory, they're banking on such creatures as Ocasio-Cortez. That's a hell of a way to pretend to lead a country.
To: bitt
Schoenfeld was once a professed conservative who now conveniently adopts positions he once refuted, and he does so while in pay to a billionaire leftist who in large part underwrites The Bulwarks invective to damage conservatives. This is Never Trumpers in a shell. They've sold out their Conservative values and teamed up with Liberals because voters ignored their punditry. They're still in the middle of a temper tantrum, flailing around so hard they don't realize they've lost. Dad has already left the room.
