Mark Fields hasn’t been the CEO of Ford since 2017. Unfortunately, HotAir seems to have recycled old news with a current byline date.
Thanks Hojczyk.
Ford Motor announced Tuesday that it would cancel plans for a $1.6 billion Mexico plant and launch a Michigan expansion in a move that may be viewed as a capitulation to Donald Trump. Ford CEO Mark Fields said the company would spend $700 million and add 700 jobs to transform and expand its Flat Rock, Mich. manufacturing plant to make autonomous and electric vehicles. Make no mistake about it Ford is a global automaker but our home is right here in the United States, Fields said at a press conference.
Wife and I went to Dearborn Michigan to visit the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
WAs very surprised to see all the auto manufacturing plants in the area.
Huge.
Also went to eat at a local place there and Muslims were everywhere. Great food and was treated great.
I was going to point out the same thing. Every time I think I might give GM another chance, they give me another reason to keep away from their showrooms.
General Motors should think twice about closing down Lordstown... Trump’s got lots on his table right now but he won’t be forgiving General Motors anytime soon.
People know who stands with them and who’s trying to “blow smoke up their ass”. Workers aren’t stupid. You’re right - Trump owns the jobs issue - because he’s fighting for all of us.
