A real “US General” should see democrat voters as a military threat.
Basically, he is an Air Force General. The forces threatening our southern border (and he does acknowledge that there is a threat to our southern border) do not have an air force, so they are not a threat to our Air Force, militarily.
Now if the coyotes and the drug dealers start flying in their narcotics and human cargoes, and protecting their operations with armed aircraft, he might see the problem differently.
Trump never said there was a MILITARY threat at the southern border.

I don’t see a military threat from south of the border either. Trump has done a good job of working with Mexico, and the Mexican military looks like it is helping, and has no inclination to invade our country.
Caravans of people are a threat to our country, they are an invasion, but they are not a “military threat” unless they steal weapons and tanks.
