I’m sorry but I think this was a bad bill. I have read of late term abortions where the skull is crush so it is an easier “birth” on the mother, or where the limbs are torn off for the same reason. A baby born still alive with a crushed skull can’t be saved. Plus how will complicit doctors and abortion providers be trusted to follow a new law. The tide has been going in the opposite direction. And I don’t think this can be solved in steps. I think the best solution is to define personhood through legislation. Science advances at a rapid rate but they can’t say when a life begins? They are a bunch of life deniers IMO. A personhood amendment defining a life when a heartbeat is detected would eliminate these horrific abortions. Women need to take responsibility for their fertility. Use abstinence, birth control, not just rely on an abortion.
