Yes, indeed, appoint Joe Di Genova Special Prosecutor to "investigate" possible wrong doings by senior Justice Department and FBI officials!

At one time I was hopeful that it was a good thing that we have a Republican President to drain the swamp/clean house and replace with super patriots and make those who are treasonous pay for their actions.

I never knew I could be so delusional.

We are going to sputter into 2020 and get our butts handed to us. What is possibly going to change from now until the left and #NeverTrump go full assault on the President? They only need to flip one state and shed a few million from what Trump got in 2016.

No kidding. Why are all the investigations against our side? Why can’t Trump get the DOJ to start investigating the other side.

Another Special Counsel will run amok, just as Mueller and his team have done. There are many fine, career, prosecutors in the DOJ, and many fine street agents in the FBI that could handle such as investigation. It remains to be seen whether the new AG will use the investigative powers of his Department to ferret out any evidence of criminal conduct by current and former FBI officials and DOJ attorneys. If he does a Sessions, and pretends there is nothing to see here, then we are one step closer to an uncontrollable government of unelected decision makers.

Ashamed. I agree and I was a big supporter of Sessions. I really want to know what happened there. Was he corrupt, institutionalized, blackmailed, or just too old to fight. I have my opinion. I honestly think he couldn’t comprehend the level of corruption in the DOJ &FBI. He just underestimated int and got played very early. At least I hope it’s that.
