“EPA Heroes” okay chuck, got it.
Nice looking apple phone she owns, it looks like
“.... Now The Federal Workforce Faces ‘Untold Morale Problems’ ....”
Which now they will precede to tell us!
Hey I thought it was untold!
And fewer “workers” in the government is bad because__________?
Welcome back!! We know how important your job is so We bought you more rubber cement to pour on your desk to make giant boogers out of! Your old bottle probably dried up by now.
Good catch.
Yeah, it is really hard to recruit when you cannot tell those being hired when exactly the paid vacations will come so they can set their schedules accordingly.
I worked on a Corps of Engineers contract for two years. Right in the same office working closely every hour of the workday with career “civil servants.”. Lots of very good people, smart, dedicated, everything you’d want. However, about 40% were useless slugs not worth the powder it would take to blow their brains out. Totally lazy, cynical, and constantly carping over trivial slights. The system did that do them. That system is still in place. Go along to get along is stultifying for the soul.
I bet of the adults standing there not a single real science class was ever taken in college!
When I was working we were out on strike for 5 months and wedding get back pay. Never expected it. We were on strike. I was CWA Communications Workers of America.
“And it may have the longer-term impact of making it more difficult to bring new people into the government.”

The rainbow ‘epa hero’ sign makes me want to jam a finger down my throat.
OMG, I just predicted this on another thread, only I said it would be NBC, instead it’s NPR.
We knew they would do this. It’s to laugh.
BWAHAHAHA...
.
Sorry to be so insensitive.
Yep.
Let them get real jobs.
Funny how that never happened when a Democratic president like Clinton or Obama had a shutdown.
