Semi-auto: one round fired for one trigger pull
An action that uses the energy of the cartridge to power the weapon to eject the spent round and load a fresh round into the chamber and cock the weapon. Must be one shot per pull of the trigger.
A double action revolver will fire with one pull of the trigger however, not harnessing the power of the cartridge to do it, is not a semi-auto.(yes, there was one rare exception to this). There is a company, can't recall at the moment, who just created a double action AR-15 for restricted states. The long trigger pull retracts a bolt, and lets it go ,stripping a round, chambering and firing. This would be available to the 18 year olds. Further, there are AR-15's made as pump action rifles for restricted states and hunting. Won't stop a thing. Just keeps the 18-21 year old crowd from defending our country from tyranny.

Here’s an idea. No more gun laws. We already have 20,000+ fed, state and local laws on the books now.

Here’s an idea for a law. Make it a class one felony for anyone entering the country illegally.
