Reach is reach. Blue check or not. I’d like to have one, but I’m not punished by not having it. Then again, I’m not political.

I think they should allow all tweets instead of censoring - it would make it even more clear what we are fighting against and point out who/what our first targets should be when SHTF.
I’m not a member of twitter but reading the discourse here made me think... I see a lot of screen captures from James Woods from twitter... does he have a blue check mark? do you know off hand?
Just took a quick peek and he does have the blue check
okay... just knowing that and how outspoken he is, throws a monkey wrench into the debate here... not taking sides here by any means, just throwin this out there.
The debate seems to be based on a false meme - someone said that the blue check indicates the person owning the account has been verified as being that person...it takes a process but insures that it isn’t a fake account.
I was referring to those suggesting the Blue checks were getting a free pass on censorship. That’s what made me think of Woods.
Understood - but it seems that isn’t the reason for the blue checks - just another jump the shark conspiracy theory....not that twitter is squeaky clean but folks see something, make up their own story to explain it, and then cry when the Left does the same thing...go figure.
The time is coming that living in the same space with these hideous people will not just be intolerable, it will be very dangerous.

I feel as you do about social media but, correct me if I'm wrong, our "Bill of rights" can't be enforced upon a private corporation...
They can treat their costumers pretty much as they wish.. Our choice is to do business elsewhere.. Yes??
What's needed is a conservative network.. I think That would send the liberal Twitter to the ash heap of history, just like liberal talk radio.. :)
Let me ask you something. Twitter is not regulated by the FCC nor is it any form of governmental entity. Even if what you suspect is true, Twitter can alter/refuse service to anyone. It’s a private business.
Do you think for one second, that if I came on here spewing pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-single payer healthcare drivel and negative Trump ads that I wouldn’t be banned?
