Of course. IIRC, it was during the last shutdown that several states had EBT system "glitches" that resulted in near riots at a number of Walmart locations. I always thought that must've been a "shot across the bow" by the Obama administration to get the Republicans in Congress to cave (which they did, shortly afterwards).

Are Nancy and Chuck more resistant to the same pressure? I think we may find out soon.
