Drill Baby Drill!!!!

OF COURSE the Leftists are against anything that is good for America. Natch!

Its really important to authorize and drill as much as possible now so that if another Gaia Worshiper like Obama gets in office, those wells will already be producing. Present them with a fait accompli and deny them the chance the scotch the whole thing before it gets going. Drill ANWR now.

I used to listen to a weekly science program out of Canada on SW.

After one of those big climate meetings, that time in Montreal, the show did a “global warming special” to review what was going on.

The host was very anti-US, and was shocked to hear one of Canadian scientists say that the US was reducing its CO2 output without signing on (must have been Bush43) to all the international stuff.

Also, despite the then-Canadian government’s push to “Save a Tonne” (of carbon per Canadian) propaganda campaign, Canada’s carbon output was increasing.

The disaster we almost had was the crash in agricultural activity , famine, and deaths of billions if the CO2 fell to 150 ppm. Thank God it has come up to ~450 ppm which is the ‘knee’ in the curve. Higher values would be beneficial, as they have been in our past.

Don’t believe the lies!

“”At precisely the time in which the world must begin rapidly decarbonizing to avoid runaway climate disaster, the United States is moving further and faster than any other country to expand oil and gas extraction,” the report said.”

So it is a zero sum game? That works.

unleash the world’s largest burst” of carbon emissions

I would think the Industrial Revolution and the rise of Industrial China and filthy India have their say.

Funny,

We were told ten years ago that we could NOT drill our way out of our oil problems. And now we have and now we are very very bad people for having done so

We got 8 inches of snow today...so far. It’s still snowing.

It’s not supposed to snow anymore.

Are you familiar with the per cent amount of CO2 in the Earth’s atmosphere?

If there was zero percent CO2 in the atmosphere we would have snowball earth. With just 0.019% we had a full ice age. With 0.03% we were at risk of a rapid Little Ice Age or falling back into a glacial state. With 0.04% and rising we no longer have that risk. CO2 is very obviously a good thing.

Let’s see if I’ve got this right......

If we have particulates in the atmosphere, it will cause warming to a point where we might have more plants, temperate climates and growth of the planet.

All the while, if we have nuclear war, supervolcano or a massive asteroid hit the earth, it will spew particulates in the atmosphere causing.....nuclear winter?

Ummmmm....

Maybe I’m missing something.....
