It's not right for the government to take most of anyone's income, so I think it is morally right to evade such confications.

I seemed to remember reading how Abbot and Costello were zapped by the IRS in what turned out to be a personal grudge held against them by a jealous tax agent.

The tax “rate” is meaningless. It is the amount of income that is taxed at what rate. There are lots of ways for the income to not be taxed. That is called good tax planning.

If the gov wasn’t so wasteful with our tax dollars; raising taxes would never be considered except by the left who loves to raise taxes every chance they get. It’s in their corrupted/damaged DNA.

All they have to do is put a Voluntary Tax Table with the 70% figure on the Tax Form for all the guilty Rich Liberals.
I know they tried it in MA. John F’n Kerry’s Accountants made sure he paid the lower Tax Rate of 5%, not the higher 7% voluntary Tax Rate.

My dad who met Mr. Benny while on leave during WWII, was invited to a feast at Mr. Benny home. Mr. Benny had hundreds of brave fighting men that day. Dad said that the food, and booze available was never ended. Dad found out that Mr. Benny did the same thing every day of the week. Mr Benny was a great American.
