It is great to see than 94% have opted to back the new plan. ---- Of the 131,230 responses, 121,900 or 93.6% have chosen to back the new plan. Just 8,330 or 6.3% have chosen to receive an immediate refund. These total responses represent 40% of the 324,144 original contributors who are required to provide opt-in consent within 90 days from January 11, 2019.

It is my hope that GoFundMe will negotiate with private border land owners for permission to build the wall on their private property. I can’t see where the government could stop this from being legal.

There is no situation or circumstance where a privately funded wall would be allowed or even be feasible. This is all just kabuki theater.

The Democrats would file suits alleging that the privately-owned wall violated environmental laws.

So how much land on the border is privately owned? Can the organization work with private land owners to build the wall?

How does one donate to a GoFundMe project?

I agree. Their hearts are in the right place. Bless their hearts!

If a property owner on the border wants some free fence, maybe they could get these folks to build it for them.
The government won’t maintain it. but the price is right.
It could be like a scholarship, for those who are not included in the barrier that the Government builds.
They should be able to find somebody willing. We only talking about a relatively short stretch - two to four miles of Trump-style bollards, or a lot of chain link or barbed wire.

“Naer the U.S. Border with Mexico”
You’d think someone would have proofed
the wording/spelling of the banner.

So - if everyone who owns property on the border decided to install suitable barriers on their own property, there is no way the government could/would fill in the gaps?
