No one seems to be mentioning that the players loved it.

I chuckled out loud a couple of times - the author got his point across. It was hamberders with a football team, not a state dinner with diplomats.

I recall that a few years ago, I believe it was for a Democrat wedding (Kennedy's), that the media was gushing over the reception where they served hamburgers and champagne.

They said it was a touch of elegance and a touch of simplicity.

In N Out is entirely a family operation. NOT a franchise anyone can buy.

As the kids keep growing up, they can open new operations further & further away from So Calif where it all started.

I don’t think In-N-Out has made it further west than Texas.””

I think you mean ‘further EAST than Texas.

In N Out started in So Calif & is all over Calif & there is one in Carson City, Nevada.

It is strictly a family operation. You cannot buy a franchise. I have eaten them since I first moved to So Calif in Feb 1964.

I love how the media snowflakes are complaining the president “disrespected” the Clemson players. From all reports they loved it! Fast food with the President!

At least he used real meat like a man, not like that Gillette pnssy Obama and his man-wife Mikeshell. Swiss cheese must have been a JohnKerry idea.

Spike Mendelsohn first made turkey burgers for the Obamas at the 2009 Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn. He then created a version for the First Lady; at Good Stuff, he serves it with Swiss cheese and calls it the Michelle Melt. https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/michelles-turkey-burgers-lemon-mayonnaise

The president joked that he had thought about having the
First and Second Ladies prepare salad, but he knew that
the Clemson athletes did not use Gillette products (in
about a month no man who is not an interior decorator will)
and that they would prefer burgers to tofu and spouts.
