Also for a very brief time, former Zimbabwe Rhodesia - where some blacks wanted a bi-racial country but were booted out after elections put Mugabe in power. The role of blacks serving in the Rhodesian armed forces is totally glossed over today; some were working towards a power-sharing government, and helping the whites fight against Mugabe’s ilk.
A warning to Americans today: Rhodesians lost their country without ever losing a battle. One of the dozen Americans killed as part of the Crippled Eagles was from my town here in NJ.
See # 62; plenty of blacks served in the Rhodesian military to stop communism in their country. The Americans that served there viewed it as part of the containment of communism (after we’d left South Vietnam); race wasn’t the primary factor (they had black brothers-in-arms).

Well since the whole stupid SOWETO UPRISING was about the ( COMMIE/ANC propaganda)blacks being upset about black kids being taught math in Afrikaans, instead of their own tribal languages ( and there were almost NO black math teachers, not to mention the fact that those teacher did NOT know all of the tribal languages ), being forced to learn Chinese ( which they shall be at some time in the future ), isn’t going to go over all that well.
