Stop playing footsie with the UK deep state...go hard or don’t go at all.
No she isn’t, Theresa May literally campaigned for the Remain vote. She deliberately did this and succeeded in doing her job, scuttling Brexit.
Everyone should have known this was going to happen when the negotiations for Brexit were literally handled by someone opposed to the move in the first place.
imho
1 if the uk government is serious about following the referendum then they need to put up customs and a wall between ireland and northern ireland immediately. they also need to shut down or reroute the freeway that meanders between the borders.
2 the uk government also needs to begin negotiations immediately with the usa to get a trans-atlantic USUKA in place.
3 trump needs to have a trans-atlantic USUKA proposal ready to unveil as soon as the UK asks for it.
also
4 if the deep state is what it is billed as, then the deep state will try very hard to block trump from proposing a USUKA. E ticket ride!
The great Dan Carlin has a take on Chamberlain that I have to admit I find persuasive: That WWI was so unspeakably awful that the leaders who were youth in that period would go to any lengths to avoid a repeat. For those interested Id recommend Carlins multi-part series Blueprint for Armageddon on the Hardcore History podcast
You have it exactly backwards.
5 imho if we do not see almost immediate movement on items 1-4, then we can be fairly certain that the fix is in at the UK end and that the UK government will seek and find a way to extend Article 50 to delay and ultimately scuttle Brexit, via a 2nd referendum or whatever.
6 imho london is very vulnerable to passive-aggressive forms of sabotage. probably about 100 deliberately scuttled vehicles a day in the middle of early morning commute traffic would bring it to its knees. just saying...
SO this triggers hard brexit, correct??
The Guardian, eh?
Having just visited NZ I can attest to that.
Correct. Farage could very well be the next Churchill if the Brit voters were smart enough to realize what they have in him. Sadly, that’s a big if.
Bad news for Brexit, good news for globalists who want to countervene the will of the voters.
It’s bizarre to watch May fight for something she doesn’t want and to pretend she’s upset about losing a vote she wanted to lose.
The longer this drags on and the more chaos that builds, the more likely a new referendum will be held. Without Obama around to cock it up by shame lecturing the citizens, the remain side will likely win the revote.
Shameful.
I don’t care, the U.S. will continue to dominate on all levels and that’s not going to change. They all hate Trump anyway so f them.
Maggie Thatcher she ain’t.
But the UK is neither a democracy nor a republic.
What the people do in a plebescite is of no consequence, constitutionally.
Parliament is the sovereign (well, technically the Crown in Parliament) - and it's up to Parliament whether to stay or to go.
The vote today is actually a good thing. The deal was not good for the UK.
As it stands now, March 29th is the hard date for exit, set in British law. All these “deals” are is deals on how to exit and how much “divorce money” Britian would have to pay the EU.
The hard Brexit (March 29th), would be what all of us thought it would be when they first voted on it two years ago. A simple, we’re out. No deals, no payments, just the proverbial drop of the microphone.
Of course all the globalists do not want to see a hard Brexit, but for the UK, I believe a hard break is in their best interest in the long run.
Does this mean revote ?
Probably not.
Brexit is dead.
A No Deal Brexit has now become the legal default come March 29th under the terms of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act
it baffles me why people who don't know anything post junk when accurate info is so easy to find...
Excellent news! Now the emasculation of the original BREXIT election vote can be addressed by having BREXIT occur as originally intended by the voters... Just get out... No more Neville Chamberlain-type deals...
Well, too many of us are accustomed to hearing things like how we can keep our doctor, how it’s a tax and not a penalty, how no one wants to seize our guns, why gay marriage won’t mean that people will be punished for being against it, and etc.
We’re all just too experienced to trust political leaders to obey the law.
Any law.
Yep. Christmas lamb with mint sauce (to cut the gamey taste).
Been that way since the end of “the troubles”. And, yes, the money changes over the border.
