More people think President Trump is responsible for shutting down the Government.

They say it like its a bad thing.

I think the Government is shut because of Trump - and I think that is a badge of honor for him.

The GOP is losing the battle as 56 percent of American voters say President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress are responsible for the shutdown, while 36 percent say Democrats are responsible.

Attribution does not necessarily indicate blame. If I’m responsible for giving you a raise because I’m your boss, does that mean you blame me for your raise? Many people want the border closed ands controlled. Many realize that the President is insisting on this before passing a funding bill. In that sense he is responsible which may be looked at positively if eventually, the border situation is solved and the government is fully funded. In other words we must have the courage of our convictions, stay the course, and accomplish both border security and government funding. Trump wins this if he gets the border wall. Its as simple as that.

A couple of years ago my husband got a call from Quinnipiac. It was obvious the person taking the poll had a bias, and the longer it went, the madder she got. She couldn’t get him to say a bad word about our president or a good word about the dems she mentioned. She was really upset when it ended. I would not be surprised if some of them do not record the answers correctly, in fact, I would be surprised if they were accurate.
