About 30 years ago it was common practice at the shift shape up session at Chicago PD precinct houses to state each day what vehicles could NOT be cited for parking violations. Vehicle descriptions and plate numbers were sometimes provided otherwise it was vehicles parked in violation in front of certain stores, blocking certain alleyways or with expired meters in certain addresses were not to be cited or towed. The cop who did not obey this direction was going to get a lot of sh*t immediately. That was the Chicago way and clout on the retail level.I am sure this principal believes the same. Rules are for the peasants not the leaders.
