Governor Cumo is certifiably insane - he’s a demonically inspired, narcissistic psychopath, on the level of Hannibal the Cannibal (Silence of the Lambs). He should be removed from office through any means employable by the good people of New York State - and by force, if necessary.
There is an unspoken but palpable sympathy toward infanticide-ists like Kermit Gosnell, so even children after birth are not off the target list of leftists/democrats, despite their fake protestations.

That is a good point you made, about OBs will need to be abortionists.
I am also wondering what will happen the first time a pregnant woman is murdered. I don’t know how NY laws work on this, but in some places, the criminal can be charged with two counts of murder. Sounds like they will get a pass in the future. Maybe they could just plead that they were trying to kill the baby, and the mother’s death was just an innocent mistake in the process.
Cruz merely referred to “New York Values” in a derogatory context several times during his presidential campaign. We knew what he meant. Everyone knew what he meant. And he WAS correct.
What Cuo-homo is pushing is exactly what Cruz was talking about.

He was just telling the truth. New York AND California are the states that gave Hillary her popular vote win in 2016.
