Amnesty for everyone who is here.

That is exactly what they mean.
You are right. They lie.
They support border security for the country only when they know it won’t be implemented. They support border security for their homes all the time.
It means welcome stations, welfare benefits, free bus tickets, and voter applications for all who show up at the border
UniParty “Border Security” is to ensure that every illegal alien is freely allowed to cross without any kind of impediment by LEOs.
The only technology that might be better than a physical wall might be some process that moves the people to the Phantom Zone, but I thought the zone was a product of speculative fiction, not actual product.
And once you go into the zone, how do you get out?
They mean the same thing mccain meant when JD Hayworth was trying to primary him. He concluded his campaign commercials, standing on the border with Border Patrol agents, mouthing his strong support, saying, “...And build the dang wall!”
I.e., the dimowits mean, “We need to control this theme of Trump’s; it is going strongly against us. We MUST make the fools believe we’re for border security, just by saying it. They fall for it every time. No need to define what we mean.”
It means this.

Security: for elected democrat lawmakers to keep their jobs.
There’s nothing to be gained talking or negotiating with them.
They mean:
Admit the 3.5 billion future “Democrat” voters ...
IS THERE any reason why, the Republicans/Donald Trump aren’t running ads on every network, 24/7 with sound bytes of Democrats in the past talking about building a wall?
It is our duty to prevent them from getting their goal. We must get the House back in 2020, increase our seats in the Senate and reelect President Trump.
They mean they’ll say it if they have to.
Meanwhile, they’re welcoming and converting as many Democrat voters, legal or illegal, as possible!
It means they support “catch and release”.
The Democrat version of border security is preventing high-income New Yorkers from moving to Florida. :)

IMO, when they say there for border security, they mean they are for programs that they can defund at a later date. Once a wall is built, it’s there, they can never defund it and they don’t like that.
That’s their dirty little trick, to say they’re for something and then never vote to fund it or vote to defund it later. That way they can play both sides of the fence.
