If you did not hold your hand of provision out to your neighbor in their hour of need, that is one of the chief kinds of sins that Jesus pointed out. It’s easy to slap away what you did not like. This chap didn’t even prey on anyone. He was stopped. Under the Old Testament law he wouldn’t even have gotten a slap on the wrist. Now how about giving God the glory for that and not rejoicing in what ungodly thing followed.
With conservatives acting this way, it’s doubly easy now. Not only is there the P.C. “offense” it’s that nobody wants to look at the cycle of being sinned against and then sinning, or that no crime was even proven.
Some time ago, a police department was successfully sued for doing a perp walk on someone who was acquitted. People do not know what kind of fire they are playing with.
Lawsuits for mental cruelty are more and more popular these days.

Are you now confessing that you are not glad that he killed himself? But you sure talk like you see the suicide as an integral part of the prevention. As is said in British law, thou shalt not suck and blow in the same argument.

And if you are not glad that he killed himself — you should also not be glad at the vigilantes. It logically follows. This wasn’t even close to a Judas like situation in which he was ashamed of what he had done to the perfect Jesus. Not close. Jesus would have rebuked the vigilantes with His own remarks about shaming people who had not yet committed a legal crime.
In fact Jesus said that if you say “Thou fool” it is as though you had murdered. And I’m pretty sure you would have wanted to do more than say “Thou fool” if you had met the fellow at that point, though I will allow room for you to walk it back too.

I'm glad he was stopped. I'm glad he isn't raping any more boys. I'm glad someone is protecting those whom our overpaid SERVANTS refuse to protect.

If Jesus died for the world, then last I looked that death was offered to the offending lad too. Perhaps Jesus spoke to him at the last second and he is now in heaven, while you careen towards hell yet.
