The middle class folks are leaving New York in droves because of high taxes so I'm sure this policy will encourage them to stay.

I saw a piece ranking US states with the highest amounts of people moving out, ranked by moving companies.
NY was third in the nation.

Cuomo won re-election last fall. He has listed legalizing recreational marijuana, codifying abortion rights and fixing New York City's subways as three priorities for the new year. And strengthening anti-gun rights policies - Andy Cuomo proves even total idiots can win in NYS if they run on the Dem line.

Sounding like the presidential candidate he insists he is not, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo unleashed an energetic attack against President Donald Trump's policies Tuesday, pledging New York will lead the nation forward with the most progressive agenda in state history. It appears that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has yet to figure out that his policies are leading to chaos, higher taxes, higher crime, and ineffective corrective measures.
He is totally clueless in connection with what the state of New York needs to ensure economic success. It is NOT socialism. Is he a blind fool?

New York City already filed for bankruptcy once before.
How long before Cuomo & DeBlasio get the city into the same status...and the next time, perhaps the whole state???
They will push New York State into becoming the most unlivable place in the USA. They are totally misusing the word Progressive, also.

I heard a clip of him giving a recent speech. He was trying to reach the oratorical heights of his dad, who I have to admit, was a good speaker.
Junior’s attempt fell flat.
He just doesn’t have it.

he wont last 10 minutes after iowa. His Uber Progressive polices wont sell outside of the Northeast metro corridor. Besides, I can only take about five seconds of his mush-mouth accent. Thats about how long it takes me to find the remote 😝...

Well, if the rest of the country goes down the same tubes as NY, then there’s no point to leaving, is there?
We’re getting out ASAP anyways.

Calling it progressive doesn’t make it so. It is anti-human-nature and counterproductive.

We’re quite probably going to lose another one to two House seats after the next census. NYS has lost almost half of the ones it had in the 50s.
If we lead, it’ll be from behind.
