for example : poll question; "Do you think troops would be required to keep the Taliban from returning to power in Afghanistan"; /yes 52%/ headline reads: "Majority of americans oppose Trumps support of the Taliban by removing troops"
Half the population, if not more, has no idea why we are in Syria.
Add me to the list.
....having learned for the first time that there were any US troops in Syria, but if Trump wanted them out, that was enough to want troops deployed there.
(Do you think 50% of all Americans could point out Syria on an unlabeled globe? I don't. Maybe 10%. Maybe.)
A few thoughts here.
Having US troops in Syria without a clear mission, given the nature of this conflict makes no sense.
Also, we may have just provided Erdogan a green light to annihilate the Kurds.
Who needs a foreign war when there is a war brewing on our border and in our streets.
i would question any ‘poll’ that required reasonably in-depth knowledge of foreign policy and foreign wars. How many of these people really know why the President made that decision?
I bet a much larger majority would approve if they were more thoughtful and had better (non fake news) information.
Knowing the poll questions would be designed to give a negative rating for Trump, this is real good news...
America voted 4 - 1 for President Trump. I believe it will be necessary in 2020 to stop the media from lying to America and announcing the democrat the winner no matter the vote. Yes I believe the media and democrats collude to that level of cheating
Is that the same majority in a Hill poll that want him impeached?
Is that the same majority in a Hill poll that want him impeached?
If the MSM reports a narrow edge for Trump, then its better than a narrow edge for Trump.
Polls created by fake news organizations? Who knows what the hell is really true.
If you asked the other 48%, do you think they could define the mission and endgame in both countries?
