Political correctness is not a recent phenomenon. It’s been around since at least the 70s.
Good luck. I’m 67 and have seen this crap since I became aware of politics around 1975. Reagan was a breath of fresh air, but a brief respite from the march toward socialism and communism. Trump is another respite. But the enemy is strong, getting stronger, and has won every battle since 1970. The totalitarian ratchet moves two or three notches forward, then we are able to move maybe one backward toward sanity every now and then.
I applaud your fight, but the inability to nail the coup plotters the past two years, in the face of overwhelming evidence of their guilt, gives me little hope. Trump’s judge selections are excellent and they will endure for a few decades. But the insane left capturing the house is going to be a disaster. I think that is the reason the stock markets have been tanking, much more so than the Fed notching interest rates up a bit.
It didn’t go away after the 1990s, 1970s, or 1960s.

Too much empathy can shut you up and shut you down. You can’t do anything because you’re unable to act when someone is offended, and any bully or nut can and will be offended by something in order to stop you.
