I think part of the reason they were using yellow is because of the high visibility, making crowds of such people really pop out...

I agree, plus apparently everybody already has one.
Here, I’d go for a better tactical solution, especially as we don’t already have that universality of availability.

I was in an old school family run camping store about an hour ago. They have a lot of clunky outdoor stuff, more survivalist/hunter than Sierra Club. They also sold yellow safety vests. I remarked that they had them, and the woman running the place said “do you want one?” I said “No, but they’re very popular in France right now. Everyone’s wearing them.”
She laughed.
“Delete” made it disappear from my to/from lists.
YMMV.
Guess I have a buncha home work to do now...

I think it was the Uncle Mike’s flashlight mount? Not sure.
Seemed like it was about $10 at WM but I never had the $10 at the right time to grab one. They’re probably still around elsewhere.
I DID get my shoulder strap with extra shells attached to my Mossberg. I think the swivels were Uncle Mike’s.

I like the yellow because it unites we the people against the elites, the ruling class. The French apparently yelled: we want Trump. They agree with us. We should all join to fight this globalism.
I so wish these people were armed.! The French, too.
Many domestic Pols are gong to experience the stocks and pillories along with dunking stools. (17th century version of the water experience)
