I agree but not nazi commandos. IMO do what FDR in WW2 did. Make an agreement with the mob. I guess there are some lepke wannabes around. If not recruit a dirty dozen like group from a super max.

Upstatehood is our only hope. And we will never get it. Which is why makers are voting with their feet and are leaving. Which means even less power in the House after the next census. Well, sucks for us, but great news for taxpayers nationwide.

Some other words spring to my mind...

...and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

We fought a war over this ****.

” malicious prosecution”

Yes. It’s ironic that after all the complaints and protests against law enforcement officers abusing their power, this woman wants to use her position in an abuse of power.

How is this not illegal?

Since when does a state AG have the legal authority to harness the power of the State to go after an individual a priori because of the personal animus of the AG toward said individual?

I'm asking.

This type of behavior by corrupt New Yorkers isn't new.

It is why the Green Mountain Boys were formed as a fighting force in the mid 1700s.

They never killed anybody, but they tarred and feathered, tied naked to trees and beech branch whipped, and rode out on a rail many New York surveyors and officials.

Trump may be Ethan Allen reincarnated.

May have to happen again?

Aren’t there any federal laws protecting people from this kind of stuff? It’s one thing to campaign on fighting crime, it’s another to have a vendetta agains a specific President. Judges have stymied Trump on banning immigration from Islamic nations based on their perception of his intent from the campaign trail. What is the intent of this overzealous AG but to destroy a political foe? Criminal activity or the lack thereof being ignored by that AG.

Isn’t it illegal to threaten litigation?

Conspiracy to deprive rights under color of law, maybe?

This must be illegal.

Trump should be using the full power of the federal government to go after these crooks.
