Ever since flat screens came out it has driven me NUTS when I go to a sports bar, someone’s home, or anywhere else, and the tv is in wide screen mode, giving black bars at the top and bottom even though the source itself is already widescreen. It's like people taking videos in portrait mode with their smartphones. It's enough to drive a man to drink.

OLEDs are subject to temporary image retention and permanent burn-in. Not a good choice if you watch a lot of Fox News or other content with fixed logos or gaming dashboards on the screen.
Hate to ruin a big investment like that. The top of the line LEDs are very very good these days.

my wife just bought me a 75” samsung 4k. 6 months after i buy a tv i tell myself i should have gone for the bigger one. next on my list 90”.
