It brought tears to my eyes. I love our President and First Lady.
I loved how the Trumps came in (apparently unannounced tho it’s hard to miss a presidential presence), paid their respects at the coffin, turned around and left .. did not stop for greeting anyone, tho I assume the Bush family had repaired to their quarters for the night ... they’ve had a long few days with longer yet to come. POTUS will likely meet with them, either inviting them to the White House, or visiting them at their quarters (probably staying at Blair House)
It’s probably the smart move, security-wise, anyways.
America is still a great country when both the Bush’s and the Clinton’s can both lose in the space of 1 year.
A Republic should have no permanent governing class, no permanent bureaucracy and of course, no ruling families.
I agree. (security and media-wise)
I wouldn’t want any “actors” having time to set up anything.
Yes, yes I am.
don’t be so sure. the same electorate that brought us DJT (while giving HRC a plurality, mind you) also elected and reelected both BHO and The Clenis. we shall see what the fickle american people bring us next.
ruling families would be hard pressed do much worse. hell, random army colonels would be hard pressed to do worse.
Trump showed far more class in this one simple act than so many here in FR have over the last few days. Just for his active service in WW II one would think would have earned him if not respect at least a little silence. Oh right a WE OK Bet and his Wife lunch today in remembrance of both his device and George Bush’s
Brought lunch today for a WWII Vet and his wife in remembrance of his and George Bush’s service (sorry for the gobbly gook damn autocorrect!)
I don’t agree with most dailymail articles.
However, I liked the pics and short video of PDJT and Melania.
Thanks for clarifying. I was wondering what language you were speaking in that last sentence. :)
Personally , I want a single ruling leader with full plenary powers. DJT
I make enough mistakes on my own and now I have auto correct making more than it corrects!;-)
lol - I understand
In 2004, I visited Reagan Library to pay respects to President Reagan who passed away...There was a long line of people who wanted to pass by his casket...
If I lived near Washington DC, I would stand in line to pay respects to President G.H.W. Bush. I live in CA...

How about you're USSS, and the actor, in a theater, is named Ford? And the protectee is in the front row?
The permanent bureaucracy is a bigger problem than non-term-limited elected officials. And Ive been saying for a while now that many of the forefathers of this great nation came to escape hereditary political leadership, yet many today seem to want to return us to it. I say no more Kennedys, no more Carters, no more Bushes, no more Nunns, no more Clintons, no more . . .
