I agree with your son regarding the Nevada GOP.

I was shocked that Tarkanian lost. I followed him on Twitter and FB and saw how hard he and his people worked. In addition, POTUS supported him and I believe Don Jr. campaigned for him.

Oh he was most definitely a Never Trumper. He had a bit of family entitlement that is irritating as well. He was my neighbor and I met him during the 2016 primaries.Again, that he and all of them lost is no surprise. Tarkanian already lost three runs for office, so no surprise that he lost this one the latest attempt is well.

*shrug* I was a poll worker. I know as far as you are concerned no contribution I’d make would equal yours. C’est le vie.

Problem is that no dem controlled legislature is going to adopt a single one of them.

For two full years the republicans had the White House AND the Senate AND the House of Representatives.

What exactly did they do with all that power?

Not address voter fraud, that's for sure.

Not control our borders.

Not ________...

They did what republicans always do when they have power, they argued with themselves about chairmanships, who was the mfwic, principles, purity, etc.

Unlike the dems, who push legislation and seat judges.

Although I must say, President Trump IS getting shit done, just not everything, and not in two years.

Some of that stuff took decades to come to the present state, and will not be reversed and disappeared in one day, or even one session of congress.

In this state, the republicans held the house for one term, and Brulte and the rest spent the whole time arguing, arguing! about who would chair what, and the voters gave it back to the dems.

Now, with harvesting, there is no chance , and the feds cannot do squat unless cheaters are caught red handed, which will not happen with vote harvesting, unless some candidate sues for it, and the whole crop of republican candidates suck here. That has to be preceded with meticulous record keeping and evidence gathering, deliberate manpower and foot work, to make it stick

Lastly, there simply is more rats registered to vote, so with similar drives for vote getting out, they will win every time.

They either need to be too bummed to vote (showing how bad their candidate is, yes mountains of negative ads) and simultaneously, we need to get our voters off their dead ass to the booth, even if the general election candidate has warts, and bad breath.

Having candidate who roll their sleeves up and are not afraid to sweat and get dirty helps.

*sigh* The democrats have a long term plan. They have file after file after file of vile bills to introduce when politically expedient.

For example, only the most naïve of observers would buy that all 1200 pages of obamacare were written overnight.

The democrats didn't need to pass it to know what was in it, they had been crafting every jot and tittle over a period of decades, endless debates in smokey rooms, and when the opportunity to cram it down out throats presented itself, it was ready.

They have a long term plan to impose a world-wide communist dictatorship.

What long term plan do republicans have, if any?

Get rich. Can’t think of any others. The GOPe has no core values. It’s a morally bankrupt political party.

The ones that have no plan, they lose.

As a party, they cannot agree on much.

Look at how many battles were fought between themselves in the house this last go round.

They 40+ decide to "retire"

Retire? While holding office?

Although that is noble of them to give someone else a chance, it was nothing more than spite, for Trump.

Bunch of as wholes.

You are correct the rats have years of stuff laid out.

Republicans want legislation that says leave me alone. Fine if it can be translated into law.

Perhaps they need to study the Constitution more, the epitome of leave the people alone.

B..Bu...But...Wasn’t it the NV GOPe that dropped pro-life from its platform?
I thought that once the GOPe dropped pro-life and social issues in general from its platform that it was supposed to attract swing voters in droves.
At least, that’s what our betters in the pundit class keep telling us.
So what gives?
Why hasn’t the NV GOPe taken over the state by now?

My son says Tarkanian was attacked and stigmatized successfully for defending some client of his as an attorney. Says it went on in his previous run for office too and it has become ingrained in Clark County collective memory that he has some kind of shady connection with the client. I don’t remember the details.
