Bullshit! This is just for show. If they were sincere about doing something, they would have done it while they had the majority. They stood around with their fingers up their behind until They learned that they would be the minority Party in the next Congress, then all of a sudden they got busy as a bee.

Hopefully the Republicans release everything they have found in every investigation before the end of the year. Otherwise they might as well just light it on fire and destroy it because it’s not going anywhere. Maybe the Senate or DoJ will do something with it. But I doubt it. I would just rather have it all public.

The ploy raises curious questions. If Huber has not completed any parts of his investigations then he is obligated to comment on his inability to discuss anything about an on-going investigation.
OTOH, if Huber has completed aspects of his investigations, the prosecutor can announce indictments, potentially against well known individuals.
December 5th, eh? Mark the calendar. We will see.
