LIBS are malignancies on civil society everywhere.

This war is not going to be fought with bullets. You could call it a battle for the mind, but that carries more than a suggestion of intellect. You could call it a battle for the soul, but a search for such a concept in modern society would be in vain. You could almost call it an emotional war, but that too is fleeting. The core lies not in reason, finance, or politics, but meaning.

A generation abandoned by tradition, bereft of reason, and emptied of purpose is capable of anything. They look to peers for not only social acceptance, but to validate their very existence. Their weapons are not guns, military, law, or money. It is complete social annihilation. Without court or jury, they destroy individual’s lives, families, and livelihoods.

A misstep, a word taken out of context, a private contribution, a religious ideal is enough to have you and your family literally driven from society.

Where lies the recourse in the court of public opinion?

What defense does one have against the press, social media, financial disassociation, de-funding, or de-platforming?

I have one real question for all those willing/wanting to “go hot”—who are you targeting?

I’ve checked out other articles by the author. He is a Christian — and a very staunch one.

So these are our interesting times. If you’re now ready to split a vein or run for the Zoloft, hold on. There’s some good news here, too — if you want to call it that.

There no longer is an “American people”; there are peoples living in America. We’re balkanized not just racially, ethnically and religiously, but also ideologically, sexually and philosophically; we speak different languages, literally and figuratively. With open talk of open-borders socialism on one side and nationalism on the other, the Overton window is now so wide that each end occupies a different time zone. Frankly, many of us hate each other. If our union were a marriage, we’d have divorced long ago.

And I believe this will likely be the U.S.’s fate: dissolution. It may be precipitated by a calamity such as a severe economic collapse. If the federal government is then unable to meet its obligations (e.g., Social Security payments), the union-binding carrot will be gone. If the feds also seek to impose a tyrannical will, certain states may nullify their dictates, creating a further rift. One thing could then lead to another and….

Regardless, with the Left hurling fightin’ words (Nazi, etc.), fomenting unrest and attacking and bullying conservatives, the Cold Civil War is already afoot. Will it go hot? If so, when? For sure is that if the Left keeps pushing, it eventually will get pushback.

Of course, should this happen, we’d likely be vulnerable to enemies such as China. It all makes for a very unsure, but not uninteresting, future.

Yet if the republic does fall and dissolve, maybe, just perhaps, one of the resulting countries can be that shining city on a hill. But remember: It will be up to us to forge it, ever bearing in mind that we can’t MAGA unless we MAMA. This means instilling in ourselves virtue — including that of courage. For whatever terrors, traumas and tribulations lie ahead, we’ll need a lot of it for things to come.

Excellent rant....thanks.

Yet despite what we're up against we still have had amazing victories.

Ditching 2016 Hillary, the Clintons cancelled---just about persona non grata, the Obamas on the same track.....

So dont give up the ship just yet.

I’m not giving up the ship. There’s always hope while there’s breath.God grants mercy, even to those who don’t deserve it. Trump is a respite, and revival is always possible.

the foot soldiers still need something to believe in. But if they win, it will create a true hereditary ruling class, more like the middle ages.

Completely agree.

The goal here of those at the top is to establish a new monarchy.

The elites can't offer the foot soldiers dreams of a republic because that would give the peasants/foot soldiers power and be at odds with the goal of monarchy.

Communism on the other hand is just what the doctor ordered. It is the perfect lure for the peasants because, instead of power, it promises them equality, which is attainable in a perverse way (i.e. all beneath the ruling class will be equal in their poverty).

[I’m just as sick of people from NYS as I am of those from NYC.]

LOL. I guess I won’t post to you anymore then.

Myself, I’m just sick of leftists wherever they may be.

I live right over the PA line. I’m absolutely crowded with NYS tourists and transplants. I talk to them all the time.

My friends and family make it a betting game. See how quickly I can make a New Yorker who claims to be sick of leftism dai or do something that proves they are leftist shills.

Usually with 3 minutes.

Excellent posts.

The election of Donald J. Trump was an obvious, open miracle. "Trump" - it's even his name.

The Miracle on the Hudson appeared 5 days *before* the inauguration of desolation. The list of specific Biblical parallels is long, but the memory imprint is the image of the people standing on the wings of an eagle, walking across dry land in the midst of the river.

Therefore, I pay no attention to the demoralizing appearances.

I recommend Exodus chapter 14 to all who may be passing by.

God is in ultimate control of His creation of which we are a part. He designed us and allows us to make choices. Those who choose to be about “His work” are things His word says are for our best or specific things he prompts some one to work at which help bring about His plans for people.

It’s true people can do no good apart from being connected with God. Self made plans and actions end up leading to more problems in short or long term many times including self destruction for the person in some way for their life or for eternity.

God never sleeps nor slumbers so in that sense it can be said He is always about His own work. (it’s in the bible)

Also God will not be mocked. what a man reaps He sows. (it’s in the bible)
