Wished Dish would carry OANN but they don’t.
It is a smart move and the right thing to do.
Finally, OANN discovers a way to become part of the News Cycle. Good. This is the most efficient way for a business become a household word; give the public a reason to talk about you. More, please!
Fox News is quickly shrinking in importance and credibility.
I swithced from Dish to DirectTV just to get OAN. Best news going!
“Wished Dish would carry OANN but they dont.”
Dish also stopped carrying HBO.
I thought the Judge in this case was supposed to rule today. What happened with that? Anybody know?

Now President Trump needs to give them some publicity. Like a Tweet mention or sit down interview. Screw FNC.
Forget it. Hard to post on my Android.
...Dish also stopped carrying HBO...
Been with Dish before Charlie Ergin became a billionaire. Dish drops some programming as a bargaining tactic in contract pricing disputes.
Can’t think of a time when programming dropped for that reason didn’t return.
Dish almost never messes with changing or dropping programming permanently.
If you’re an ideologue, yes. If you’re a business, no.
Imagine your job is to make money for Fox. News and commentary are the mechanism you have to convince advertisers to buy ads on Fox News Channel. That’s the only reason it exists, you know...to make money. If you think they’re a charity you must be confused with PBS.
So, as a Fox News executive, what causes more people to tune in and generate higher ratings: strict conservatism or controversy? What would you like to see happen, CNN’s lawsuit summarily thrown out, or for it to drag on for weeks or months? Which side would you be on, the side that wants Acosta to fall off a cliff or the side that wants more Acosta and more arguments with Potus?
You certainly have every right to believe as you wish, but from a business perspective, what Fox is doing is the smartest move for Fox and it’s shareholders. Which is what any good business should always do.
Maybe someday people will stop expecting companies who provide news/information platforms to be objective or act like political parties rather than acting like a business.
Thanks...I was out this afternoon, and must have missed it.
Two Murdock bastards and their wives!
They ought to kick them all out.
Then for at least a while only have OANN, Gun Owners of America, Heritage Foundation, National Right to Life, Citizens United, Eagle Forum, Judical Watch, Dinesh DSouza, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, etc etc, in the briefings.
Let the entire nation see how normal, intelligent people conduct themselves in a professional manor to discuss the actions of the president.
It will be clear what a pack of pigs the current crop is that demands debate with the White House.
.
I don’t understand how, or why the other reporters in the press corps are willing to tolerate Acosta’s self-centered shenanigans, as it takes away from the time the rest of them have to ask questions. I think they are too stupid to realize it. Anybody who repeatedly pulled stunts like that, and took time away from me being able to ask a question, would end up in an acid bath.
I think Dish and DirecTV both are satellite, so you should be able to ditch Dish and go to DirecTV. We like OAN and Newsmax.
