Voted early last week in NC. I drove by my normal polling place this morning after dropping my son off at school and it didn’t look any busier than normal. I spoke with my mom who is still in OH who voted at 7:10 AM this morning. She said it was not busy at all.
.
No on 8!
I voted in Winter Park FLA this morning. My precinct is mostly black. Hubby and I voted at 7:45ish and I was #53. There were no blacks in the precincts, just a few whites.
Any estimate of the demographics while you were in line?
In pre-vote, Charlotte County was 52% R v 23% D.
REal Clear Politics is predicting:
Nelsom winning Senate seat in FL
Gillum winning the Governorship in FL
Kemp winning Governoship in GA.
Predicting Democrats win senate by 1 seat.
Republicans pick up 2 seats in Senate
Dems pick up 7 governorships.
++++ I voted early in Tenn, and took my wife with me. She's not super political and votes midterms infrequently. We went to lunch afterwards.
When my son came home from college, I didn't let him get out of the driveway before I took him to early vote. First time voter!
Then, last night, I talked my son's best friend into going to vote, and he'll be casting a Straight R ballot, too.
The way I see it, I get FOUR "+"
I voted. Entire family on straight R ticket, all initiatives infringing upon individual rights or increased taxes rejected.
Early voted last week in Colorado.
Voted last week in Denton County Texas by mail in.
In my precinct, the write-in showed up on the final screen. What happened after that, I don’t know.
Voted absentee a week ago in the Southernmost part of the Southernmost island of the Southernmost state in the U.S. Voted RED in a sick blue state. Aloha from Hawaii
My wife and I voted in Garland, TX on Oct 23.
Will vote after work in Ohio. Voting all Republican!!
Pittsburgh. Polling place was busier than usual. At the sign-in table there were two black women I had never seen before who looked like they were pulled from a homeless shelter. Poll watchers for Black Lives Matter I reckon. Despite my GOP registration they did not challenge me because all of the long-time poll workers there know me well.
I voted straight party Republican despite the fact that I am not thrilled with the candidates, and am PO-ed at the stupid, incompetent campaigns this party ran. I had to write in 3 names for offices where the Republicans did not even bother to field a candidate.
Also voted no on a proposal to raise my property taxes to fund a county extended day care and preschool program “for the children”.
As Democrats enjoy an 8:1 registration advantage where I live I don’t expect any one or thing I voted for to prevail. That bleeding heart For The Children ballot proposal will almost certainly pass.
#40(me) and 41(wife) in Youngsville, NC @ 6:50AM. It was the first time I’d seen lines that early.
The Mrs and voted on 10/22 straight Republican, TX 2nd Harris Count PCT 482
Where do you see that on RCP?
Done.
For me anyway.
One anomaly. The First lady has been held up by an address question. We both have DL and voter id with correct address.
Pinellas County.
She just got her ballot.
5.56mm
Me plus three others voted in Florida - Straight (R) ticket last week.
