I have noticed and have stopped going there.
Used to go to Drudge 3-4 times a day.
Now have not checked out Drudge in over a month, deleted the Drudge app from phone and tablet.
Stopped reading Drudge a long time ago.
Drudge went to the dark side. I quit Drudge in early 2017.

I sent hundreds of complaints to drudge about their showcasing fake news propaganda.
He’s doing it intentionally for his own reasons, of which I do not understand.
So after decades of following drudge 10x’s daily....I stopped cold turkey.
All I can say about Matt Drudge is.....

He’s frightened to death of being deplatformed.
Same thing that happened to Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs or Glenn Beck.
They become so enamored with their popularity that they start doing stupid stuff and forget the people who made them popular.
He tweeted about three years ago (four?) that he was told the ubiquitous they would shut him down about three years ago, then he started to play ball with the UniParty.
He is also compromised by his adherence to inherently unconservative homoeroticism; that kind of cognitive dissonance has its effect.
