Is the same thing people have done for Trump honestly. I’m a conservative, not into hero worship of any human. I like what Trump has done for sure. But all the cult of personality stuff is creepy on both sides.

Well us more seasoned and intelligent people can scoff but Beto is presenting a cool, hip and progressive image that appeals to our impressionable young people. We disregard him at our own peril.
Look at what happened in Canada with Justin Trudeau. Mature people see him for the "out-of-his-league" goofball he is. But the young folks love and adore him. "He's so cool! Look, he's dancing in his indigenous costume...isn't that the bomb! Why he really cares about us!"
A few months back, Ocasio Cortez was being setup to be the future star of the Left but she proved to be too stupid and vacuous even for the Leftists to stomach. So now we have Beto...
Cruz will beat him like a rented mule this election but we haven't seen the last of Beto, that's for sure. I'm almost positive he is going to jump into the 2020 presidential race and considering the tired dinosaurs he'll be up against, he's got a shot.
