This is a fraud that should be stopped. If you claim your parent’s residence, have ID and driver’s license for that residence, maintain it for tuition purposes, etc., then that is also where you should vote. If you permanently move to the college town, give up your home residence, fine. I’ve always thought this wrong to have thousands of transitory students claiming and voting as residents in a college town that they’ll leave once the semester or year ends.
They are sold in grocery stores by the checker here in Maryland
Have you ever seen the video of the room full of snowflakes applauding the girl opening a can with a manual can opener?
Here in the socialist paradise of CA our voter registration mailers have free postage - is says so right on the sheet. Of course you have to fold it properly, seal it with tape, then search high and low for an old fashioned mailbox that hasn’t been vandalized...or, the horror, actually visit a post office and slip it into one of the shoots usually located in the lobby.
This is sad. But if it keeps the young, stupid SJW voters from voting blue, well, c’est la vie.
Who ever wrote this piece is a complete idiot, also. The price of stamps has been 50 cents for many months, and they are considering going to 55 cents.
Even better. I did a quick internet search. There are at least 2 places on campus to buy stamps and mail letters.
I know! An 18 yo doesn’t know how to purchase stamps? They can now be bought at the grocery store.
Coming soon, I fear — online voting through email or text.
Stamps? What the heck are those? Since they aren’t email, text, or messenger, “stamps” do not compute.
oy f'n vey .. imagine the idiot 'parents' !
A friend who works at the Post Office told me that one of them came in and purchased ONE stamp on her debit card.
I went to 3 different colleges and to the best of my knowledge they all had on campus post offices.
I assume these children have figured out how to get to the student cafeteria. They don’t appear to be starving - *especially* the females.
These millennials know how to use an ATM machine, no? My bank - Wells Fargo - provides the opportunity to purchase stamps at their ATM machines. Im sure theyre not the only bank in the country with this service.
You call Uber EATS have them buy the stamp and have them send it to Amazon to have it delivered by FedEx, all the while checking their phone app to keep track of the delivery.
“They cant figure out how to buy stamps and send mail? Is this satire?”
No, it’s not satire, it’s the truth. I talked to a college professor a while back and got similar information, such as:
Many students cannot write a complete sentence.
None of them can do simple math in their heads - Calculators and common core put an end to that.
None of them can write or read cursive.
Many are afraid to use the telephone and have voice communication.
Some become suicidal if they have no one to text to.
They feel as though they are picked on if they cannot text during class.
If notebooks are used for classroom work, it’s just about guaranteed most will be surfing the web.
Many cannot tie shoe laces.
They are literally taught nothing in public schools, then shoved out the door as graduates. Trust me, it’s getting pretty bad.
The young, educated professionals in Fairfax Co. are very likely to not have citizenship (yet) so may not affeCT
2018 or 2020.
The stamps will be gone within two years.

Wow that’s incredibly sad.
“How incompetent is the Democrat Party that they arent on every college campus handing out stamps?”
Shhhh... don’t be giving them ideas.
They can’t figure out how to hit “Send.”
