President Trump is doing it all the right way: Mock them, force them into indefensible positions, then ignore them.....

After passing the 17th Amendment state senators are less and less about their individual state and far more about national political bribery. Well, we repealed the 18th Amendment as a bad idea. Maybe it's about time to do the same with the 17th, and go back to the original method for choosing Senators. Which was a vote by the individual state Legislature, for those in Rio Linda.

Yep, President Trump getting elected was a big monkey wrench in the leftist Dems plan, they’ll never get over their whining about it.

Yes!!
The original framers of our Constitution were almost unanimous in favoring state control of the selection process for senators vs the direct election by the voters. The process had virtue as well as it's disadvantages.
More state control would not be a bad thing in many ways, but we have grown too accustomed to a national government which is an all powerful monster IMO.
