Because Trump recited basic facts or the lack thereof, that made obvious that such a weak case would have never been brought to a court anywhere in the world! The Dems again put a spear through the chest of the body politic of America, they caused enmity and division over an accusation so flimsy and weak that it should have been dismissed and never seen the light of day. It could not be attributed to this man, there was no corroboration and it had absolutely nothing to do with his work as a jurist. There was no tell-tale sign that was missed in his life, because the other so-called victims were ridiculous, and therefore there was absolutely no evidence that he was a harasser of women. In fact his life was an exemplar for the treatment of women. This attempt at sexual McCarthyism failed, and Juan Williams should be thanking Trump for that. (He was accused of harassment himself.) Thank Trump for fighting it through, he saved a lot more innocent men than just Brett Kavanaugh.
If anyone owes anyone an apology, it would be Feinstein and the the entire Democrat Party.
