Some democrat operative was on t.v. last night, saying every president should get to pick 4 justices for the court, with 4 year terms. Incredibly, his rationale was that “it would take the politics out of the SC!” They keep changing the goalposts. When the SC is dominated by left leaning judges, they’re good with that. Imagine their angst and antics when RBG dies, and Clarence Thomas announces his retirement. (Which of course, I’m sure he’ll do at the end of this session, to avoid a SC pick in a presidential election year.)
