Alan Dershowitz has said that Kavanaugh can only be impeached for acts conducted while on the Supreme Court, not prior acts to that position (same for Trump - only for acts as President, not prior). Then again, the Dems don’t care about the law and impeachment is ‘political’ so I imagine they’ll try to go after him on whatever grounds they want. It ‘should’ be a major waste of time/energy and as you said, I don’t think either will be removed from office. If the Dems go after impeachment charges, they will continue to demonstrate that they are the equivalent of turd-throwing baboons.
Sen. Kamala Harris is not fit to sit on the Judicial Committee...she is hostile, rude, and downright poisonous. Her demeanor as a senator is atrocious as are all radical Democrats.
Harris ans Booker imploded during the hearings. Both exposed themselves as marginal figures. Neither is the “next Obama.”

A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named Pelosium. The chemical symbol of Pelosium is Pu. Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons and 224 deputy assistant neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311. These particles are held together by dark particles called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Scientists point out that Pelosium is known to be toxic at any level of concentration and can easily destroy any productive reaction where it is allowed to accumulate. Attempts are being made to determine how Pelosium can be controlled to prevent irreversible damage, but results to date are not promising.

I have no doubt that the Founding Fathers and various court rulings have confirmed Professor Dershowitiz's position.I also think that you're entirely correct regarding the Rat Party's utter contempt for the rule of law.
I believe that it's that contempt that will cause them to manufacture grounds for impeachment...with Kavanaugh *and* Trump.
They are burning with a stupid-fire to keep this issue alive. Let them burn.
