Shooting pool and probably consuming alcohol. Then carrying a WEAPON??? Yeah nothing will go wrong here.

I cannot think of a CC State that does not have 0 (ZERO) alcohol as part of the CC laws. AND then inside a place that makes 51% of their profits is off limit in Texas.

Don’t I know it. I was on vacation in Maine this past week, and I went to a bar to watch a game the other night and the area that I am in is rural enough that the only bar within any reasonable distance was this local tavern that was probably 20 feet wide by 40 feet deep, with a bar that sat eight people and a small 42 inch television. (our cabin didn’t have television)

Caveat: I don’t do bars, and definitely not bars for sporting events, but what could it hurt?

There were two young female Maine bartenders and two customers.

Good God, I got a taste of Maine most tourists don’t get.

A nice young, clean-cut looking 22 year old guy came in and sat down a few stools away. Then a guy a little older (still about forty years my junior) came in and plopped down between us. He and the young guy began speaking, then buying each other shots and stuff, and the older guy turned from somewhat tipsy and only a little annoying drunk to mean, obnoxious, loud and nasty drunk...talking to a woman at the bar who studiously ignored him, then seemingly on he verge of slugging the young guy he was talking to.

The drunk guy didn’t know the younger guy (I found out later) but he was too nice to ignore the guy.

I can deal with a quiet drunk, a funny drunk, a happy drunk, even a silly drunk, but mean drunks really piss me off, and I was watching this guy like a hawk as he began verbally abusing the bartenders who shut him off.

I thought I was going to have to jump him, but eventually he left. I was wondering if the girls would call the cops, but the cops were so far away I am sure we wouldn’t have seen them for a while.

Jesus Christ. I just went to watch a game and it turned into a few hours of tension fraught with danger. This is how people end up in jail, injured, or killed.

Drinking alchohol is not prohibited for PA CCW laws, nor should it be.
