Yep, I think you’re right, which is one of several reasons why the gentle approach and treatment the Republican Senators showed her was so necessary.
Sometimes you have to fight and sometimes you have to not fight and let the other person take themselves out, which is what they did and is what we saw.
There was no beating her up, no matter what she said. That comes now, in the articles and editorials and in the courts of public opinion where it’s no holds barred.
She, and especially the powers that be who sent her, gave us all a lot to think about!

I tend to always believe victims, but this "me too" crap along with dumping all priests into the same pervert hole as a tiny minority of criminals/creeps is just too much....
unless you're a very young child or you fear immediate physical harm, a person has to REPORT and CHARGE someone when something bad happens, not decades later...

The other night, I happened upon the Elizabeth Smart interview from a few years back...interviewed by Anderson Cooper. I remarked that she endured and recovered from 9 months of being terrified and raped better than Ford has over some alleged drunken fumbling on her body.
At best, Ford is a toon. At worst, she's an operative. I'm going with her being both.
