I disagree, Mitchell didn’t have to rip her to shreds, but if she had asked her about inconsistencies, she clearly knew about - she had indeed coached someone about taking a polygraph, the renovation was in 2008 not 2012, there were 19 people registered to receive mail at that address, who are they, was the second door for renters?
If she’d gently, as she was doing, showed a few of these problems with her story, Flake may not have been able to play his role in this hit job, getting the extra week delay.
Somebody asked that on the other thread, but I don't know the answer, and I don't remember the thread it was on so I can't even give you a link. I just remember them mentioning he was related to the Philadelphia Biddles. I was acquainted with a gentleman whose grandfather's last name was Biddle, and claimed they were related to the Philadelphia Biddles too...but they were black. Possibly received the name during the days of slavery. His grandfather was the first person recruited to Company A, 54th Massachusetts Regiment that was featured in the movie "Glory." I spent several years researching the 54th and 55th Massachusetts Regiments, so that's why the info stuck in my head.
She may well have delved a bit deeper, but we gotta remember she was under pretty strict time constraints that were set up by the committee beforehand.
We can argue ‘ask A instead of B’ til the cows come home, but all in all I think she did a yeoman’s job getting the lying cow to paint her miserable self into a perjury corner.

Incredible, the depth to which they have gone to craft this smear job of Bk. It has to make you leery of the FBI investigation this week. How can we be sure the FBI agents working on this aren’t people who will be tying to hurt BK?

Re: Ford’s family. Her parents weren’t present to support her during the hearing, and they have remained remarkably quiet throughout this ordeal.
Still not sure BK will be confirmed, Flake is not going to vote for him, I’m convinced of that, Collins may fold. Before the vote there will be a full court press by democraps & MSM, with all kinds of charges flying around.
After the vote, if they arrest Ford for perjury, she might fold & expose the whole conspiracy. Maybe this women McLean if asked under oath, will admit that she helped Ford write the letter. Ford was emphatic she wrote the letter herself. Perjury on not ever coaching anyone on how to pass a polygraph and perjury on writing the letter herself. Arrest her immediately after the vote.
